Quirk is Midway’s hot spot for lunch. Located in a beautiful historical building with high original tin ceilings and hardwood floors, Quirk is fun and casual and comfortable.  From soups, salads and gourmet teas and French press coffees to hot hearty sandwiches and cold beer or wine, there is something for everyone at Quirk!

Our patio is a popular place in summer and R. J. Corman’s trains continue to roll through several times a day giving the tiny town a feeling of days gone by.  Come browse the shops and take an afternoon break at Quirk for the best desserts on the block or a mango mimosa!

 

Quirk also hosts private parties and functions from showers or bridge club luncheons, rehearsal dinners to Christmas or birthday parties! Our chef can create a menu just for you and your guests.

Chef Dave Overton is always preparing something new and delicious that’s not on our regular menu including a variety of fresh baked quiche, hot and hearty Paninis and luscious desserts.  Fresh local produce and products are used when available and in season.  

Our Executive Chef

Our Executive Chef is Sullivan University Culinary Arts sum cum laude graduate Dave Overton and food writer for Ace Weekly Magazine. Chef Overton specializes in international fusion dishes with favorites such as miso-braised short ribs and arepas with halibut and shrimp ceviche.  He uses local produce and products in his cuisine and loves to add variety to the menu by creating new dishes as frequent specials.   From his scrumptious scones to daily fresh baked quiche, fabulous sandwiches, entrees and incredible desserts, our chef will make you remember what you had!
